I currently only sell our halters online and I am hoping to make it to some cattle events and shows and be able to bring stock of my halters with me to sell at the events and shows.

The most accurate way to know what size to order is to measure either your cattle's head, or a halter or a rope halter that they wear and find the best fit you can for them and measure the halter or rope halter. You will then need to decide if that halter or rope halter needs to be bigger or smaller to fit your cattle's head correctly, comfortably and safely. I have supplied measurements of my halters and their range of adjustment for the crown strap (the strap that buckle on the left side and goes behind the head and ears). You will then need to choose which adjustment range and size of nose would best fit.

If you are waiting for a certain size(s) and/or color(s) to come back "In Stock" you could possibly be waiting for a long time. If there is a a certain color(s) and/or size(s) that you are wanting to purchase you will need to "Pre-Order" them. Once I receive an order is when I begin making the halter(s) for that specific order. I don't have the room to be able to have every variation of my halters in stock. Also, by waiting to make halters until they are ordered allows me to be more efficient with my materials. So, if you are wanting a halter(s) pre-order them and they will be put in the que (if there is one at the time of your order) to be made and shipped out ASAP.

Like any other halter or restraint item we do not recommend keeping our halters on your cattle while they are not being supervised. It is possible for cattle to get snagged onto an object(s), equipment, fencing, other cattle or even themselves and seriously injure themselves.

I make halters in the order that I received them as I receive them. I may be caught up and have no working orders and you place your order, and I can get started on it as soon as I can. Or there may be a time that you place your order and there are 6 other orders ahead of you and it may take a couple of weeks for me to make them and have them ready to ship. If you have a certain deadline that I need your order and are afraid you or whoever the halter is for won't get it in time I recommend purchasing an eGift Card through our website.

If you are not 100% sure that the person that you are gifting the halter(s) to won't be satisfied with it, I recommend an eGift Card. This way the person you are gifting it to will be able to pick the exact size and color that they want. You will be able to send the eGift Card to the person right through the website and can even schedule exactly when the eGift Card will be e-mailed to them.
